FILMMAKING
Zack Walsh has written, directed, and edited several acclaimed films alongside his filmmaking partners. Their work ranges from award winning short films, to music videos, promotional trailers, event videography, and now a feature length film - Mr. Walsh’s feature directorial debut, Prosperity Creek.
Zack Walsh’s first feature film, Prosperity Creek is a social satire genre movie that follows a young woman stuck housesitting in a mysterious and highly secretive neighborhood for the summer, who quickly uncovers a potentially otherworldly conspiracy that goes all the way to the United States government.
Assembled throughout the pandemic, a working cut of the film has been warmly welcomed at several film festivals, including screenings at the Mountain View Film Festival for Race, Equity, and Inclusion, and at the Shock Stock festival in London, Ontario. For his work on the film, Mr. Walsh was awarded Best Original Story at the New York Movie Awards, the Silver Medal for writing, and the Digital Expression Local Hero Award at DC WebFest, and Best Film (With a Budget $1,000-$5,000) at the Horrors4You Festival, with an additional nomination for Best Ensemble.
The film is currently in post-production.
